Born in the Caribbean Island of the Commonwealth of Dominica, I moved to Houston in 2004 to pursue a career in business. After graduating from The University of Houston with a degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Finance, I found myself in the Construction Industry. Here, I quickly rose through the ranks, managing multimillion-dollar projects and overseeing an I.T. infrastructure.
An opportunity arose for me to explore a career in I.T., and I grasped it with both hands. This decision allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge of I.T. management and infrastructure design, providing me with exposure to the countless specialties of the field and the infinite business industries that I.T. serves.
However, my I.T. career also presented me with a unique challenge: learning how to communicate with individuals who either did not appreciate technology or did not understand it. I had to find a way to bridge the communication gap and cultivate trust with my clients by teaching them how I.T. infrastructures impacted their workflows and how it could change them.
This challenge led me to establish CTP (Communication, Trust, Partnership) Guide at the end of 2021 as a passion project. The vision of CTP Guide is to close the communication gap between people and the companies they serve. I help clients better understand the needs of their professional worlds, individual lives, and the companies they serve. Our aim is to establish a partnership built on communication and trust, resulting in mutually beneficial outcomes for all parties involved.
